I dreamt about you once today
A vision clear and new
I’ve dreamt about you once before
And sometimes dreams come true
I dreamt about a dark woman
A woman of mystery
As a shadow in the distant night
Who might this woman be
I awaken from my dream
With the burning question of “Who?”
I was please to find the answer
The mystery is you.
I dreamt about you once today
A vision clear and new
I’ve dreamt about you once before
And sometimes dreams come true.

DISTANT MEMORIES
DISTANT MEMORIES
I was thinking of you today
As I sometimes do
Particularly on warm sunny days
With cool breezes
They remind me of us
Having lunch by the ocean
A quiet moment
Stolen from an otherwise busy day
A time to sit alone
And let the wind gently caress or faces
A gentle breeze blowing
As I marvel at the softness of your skin
And become engulfed with passion as you touch me
I tenderly stroke your face with my hand
Your ears
Your ears, around the edges and the lobes
Your neck
Your long neck, in front where it's soft and tender
And in back where it's firm and smooth as it meets you hair
Your hair
Your hair, where it's soft and curly behind your ear
I touch your nose with mine...
I outline its curves and features
And then, we kiss...
Oh how I long to kiss you more.

Free Spirit
Free Spirit
The pleasures
Of quiet
Contentment still
My mind
At ease
With power
Of will
My heart
At peace
In love
With life
My spirit
Is centered
Devoid
Of strife
My life
Is as
The ocean
Breeze
In cool
Delight
Unbounded
Free
To roam
The earth
Unseen
But felt
Too calm
To care
All by myself
But when
Provoked
A tempest
Sure
Unleash
The fury
Who can
Endure
The rage
Of power
One can’t
Forget
The tempting of
One does
Regret
Just as
The hurricane
Unfolds
Its energies
Its forces
Bold
Too dangerous
To fight
It kills
But at its center
It is still
At ease
Of will
With life
At peace
Devoid
Of strife
Its spirit
Free

GOLGOTHA
'Tis now the hour of my content
'Tis now the hour the viel is rent
'Tis now the hour the world may see
And know and live in my victory
'Tis now the hour of my last breath
'Tis now the hour of my death
'Tis now the hour for which I've come
To die for all that I might save some
'Tis now I make myself a shame
'Tis now I die for what I've claimed
'Tis now I prove what has to be
'Tis now I die upon this tree
I die a death no man can die
I cry a cry no man can really cry:
Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani;
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
I die that through me you can live
I die that my blood I can give
I give my blood to make you clean
It's through my blood that your hope may be seen
I drink this cup of wrath complete
I endure the pain that ravishes me
I gladly do what I must do
I gladly die; because I love you

ROMANS 12:1-2
Is this the price I have to pay
For a closer walk with thee?
To lose the things dear to my life,
The things to important to me?
I feel poured out and empty now
With nothing left inside.
I feel so lost and directionless,
I feel as if I died.
But you require this death in me
To die that I might live.
That I might live my life for you,
And to you my whole life give.
It is a small thing that I do
To lose these things I see.
When compared to what you sacrificed,
When you gave your life for me.

MY SECRET LOVE
My secret love is sweet to me.
My secret love brings joy.
My secret love is spiritual,
And that’s the best of all!
My secret love is diligent.
My secret love is strong.
My secret love is humble,
And her tears are quick to fall.
I enjoy just having me secret love,
To share our selves within.
But I hope for a day with my secret love,
That day that my secret will end.

Hope
The rains
Have come to cool the land
Each man and woman
Alone must stand
The child, the dog
Must fend for self
No one here
No one left
Bereft of hope
Despair's the dream
All things are dark
No hope it seems
Just where to go
We can not find
We look to left, to right
To up, to down
There's no way out
No help to be found
Alas this dream
Is not despair
Because somewhere
There's hope out there
We must persist
And follow our dreams
We must not die
But strive, it seems
Keep up my friend
Don't give up
Keep hope alive
Keep hope alive
Keep hope alive
