Twinkle, twinkle little star,
Who does know just what we are?
Who can tell us of our ways?
Who can number all our days?
Twinkle, twinkle little star,
Who does know what’s in our hearts?

Remember Me
The title sounds like part of a eulogy,
But I’m not dead, not even sick.
Whenever you’re in trouble
Just think of this quick!
When I’m home I’ll visit you then.
I’d love to, we will see.
But if the chance shouldn’t come again,
Just please remember me.

Pilgrimage
Who’s on the path of righteousness?
Who really knows what’s best?
Who can say how I must live?
How can one make rule for all the rest?
Some say it’s here, some say it’s there,
Some say it doesn’t exist.
Some say it’s now, some say it’s future,
Some say we’ve already missed!
Some say there’re many ways to come,
Some say there’s only one.
Some say the quota has been filled,
Some say that there is none.
So what is truth, so what is right
Just how can I decide?
To whom do I heed of all that speak?
How can I know who lies?
Is there one to show me
Or to somehow demonstrate,
The kind of life that I should live,
The road that I should take?
I must confess that I am tired
Of searching all alone.
I must confess that I am lost.
All ways I’ve tried were wrong.
Where is that way that leads to life,
Where is that way that’s best?
Where is that way that leads to truth,
That path of righteousness?

On Standby
Standby.
The word gripped me,
And put a stranglehold of fear on my heart.
After hours of desperate desire
And eager anticipation to spring into action,
I’m hit with the immovable word…Standby.
Standby.
It stands there, the Rock of Gibraltar misplaced to a busy thoroughfare.
Impeading progress!
Standby.
No way to go around it! No way to go over it!
No way to go through it!
But there is one thing about “Standby” that brings hope.
In that due to the temporary nature of the word itself,
There’s always the hope that, it will just leave.

My How Fast
My how fast the time has passed.
Who could’ve known that we would last,
To have our love grow so vast, so fast?
But we knew this truth to be quite pure.
When sick with doubt it is the cure.
The truth that true love will endure, is sure!
Another fact that’s well worth knowing
In addition to love’s ever flowing,
Love will always keep on growing, and glowing!
Looking back into our past,
Loving you has been a blast.
I just wish our time apart would pass, and fast!
