Will this be the day
You call me home
To be up there with You

Will this be the day
I see Your face
To begin eternal life that's true

Will this be the day
You ask of me
What have I done with life

How have I lived
How have I loved
Did I bring peace
Or did I cause strife

Will this be the day
That I realize
Just who my life was lived for

Did I only seek
To please myself
Or serve others in love

Will this be the day
I bow my head
In shame and agony

Or look at You in triumph
Having run the race
You set for me

Well this is the day
That You have made
And filled with opportunities

Chances to live, love and give
To follow the example
You've set for me

And in that choice
There is an end
A goal to be pursued

That in each day
I live my life
I become more and more like You

Will this be the day
You call me home
And if so who will You see
