PSALM 51

Lord help me in my hour of need,
My time of deep regret.
A time when I suffer for forgetting you,
While me you never forget.

As a wayward child, I slumber home,
With a broken spirit and a sorrowful face.
You await me, as always, with your open arms of mercy and love…
Why did I ever leave in the first place?

Jesus hold me in your strong, loving arms
And please Lord, hold me tight.
Keep me close to you in your holy light
And hide my face from Satan’s evil night.

Lord I know that you are truly able
To keep me perfectly!
And the responsibility for staying close to you,
Really lies with me!

So please me to live and abide in your love
And give to you my all.
By doing this I know that I
Shall never, ever, fall!
