The times the smiles will sneak right in
and catch me by surprise.
Or days when I am feeling low
and my spirit begins to rise.
For days I'll ride my cloud of bliss,
my joy begins to pour.
And springs of laughter fill my heart
where they never were before.
What could cause this change so suddenly?
As lightning, oh how fleet!
Yet as the gentle season change,
so subtle and complete.
A change as refreshing as a cool Autumn breeze;
to enjoy but not to see.
A change that you have made in me,
because you have made me happy!
