Viola

A gentle breeze caresses her leaves…
She gently sways as it swirls around her.

It’s just her way, I mean to say,
She’s a humble flower.

Her colors are soft and pastel-like,
Her petals glow with the sun.

Her stem is firm yet pliable…
Her beauty compares to none.

She folds her leaves with the coming of dusk,
She bows to meet this hour.

It’s just her way, I mean to say,
She’s a humble flower.
